When we complain, a lot of what we say is I did what I was supposed to do, I don't deserve this. But how did you get where you were? How is this happening to someone that doesn't deserve it? That is the thing that we miss. We cannot see ourselves as others do. Many do not have the ability to be truly introspective when they do not get what they want.
They expect to be the best, but they don't put in the work to be the best.
They expect privilege and respect, but they do not return that in kind.
They expect loyalty, but have never been loyal to anyone else.
No, if you don't get to where you want to be, look at yourself. Look at what you do, look into your thoughts on the actions that you have taken in life.
A position of power does not automatically get you what you think that you deserve if you are a flawed and broken person, a person of low value. Not lacking money, but poor (low value) in the sense of character.
