Juan Aleman II was born in McAllen, TX. He was raised in San Augustine, TX with his two older sisters and mother & stepfather. Upon graduating high school, Juan attended college on a theater scholarship.
After leaving school, Juan did a bit of acting. Nothing big came up and he joined the Army in 1995. After his time in the military Juan went to work for the federal government until 2016.
Juan did some acting and started writing his first book in 2018. It would become "We're All Broken" a children's book about acceptance and feeling like you aren't enough. After pursuing acting for a few years, it became clear that it was time to find a new normal. This would lead to him writing the four short stories in "Divergent Live of No Consequence"
In his personal life, Juan has been married for almost 30 years, they have two adult children. In their next phase, they plan to spend as much time together as possible and, maybe, do some traveling!
